Need to be careful now

Need to be careful now

It's now been a month since I started to keep this diary and a combination of this honesty to myself and the fact that I have cycled over 330 miles in 2 weekends I can really feel that I have lost some weight. However just reading back the last couple of days to myself I can really see a worrying trend of starting to eat junk creep in. Why did I eat the chocolate cake? Ok it looked nice, but that wasnt the point. Also what with eating the Rice Pudding when I know it contains milk? I guess in a way I am treating them as rewards but in fact I shouldnt be rewarding myself with food because its food that has caused the weight in the first place. I need to find a healthy option of rewarding myself so I will my thinking cap on and see what I can come up with.

Comment Eat more fruit when feeling like being hungry. Save your rewards for the weekends and have ONE day when you eat the things you really like BUT try to choose healthy options ... example.. POPCORN.. choose a low fat NO sugar pop corn as a treat. Take a garlic tablet to cancel the cholesterol in the popcorn...if you eat a cake at weekend.. take a garlic tablet later on to clean the cholesterol and have nuts EVERY day.. UNSALTED and NOT too many. ALL of one fruit and no variety is not good enough. To gain all goodness and PROTECTION you need from fruit you need to have several different kinds in a day. AIM for at least an apple an orange a kiwi a couple of satsuma's... you will find that the urges get less. Bye the way.. once you break the habit of eating sweet things the longing goes away ( the ' looks nice') ....this takes a week or two with nothing.. but it does go away. We ALL struggle with that.. SUGAR is very addictive in many ways and forms You are doing quite well but need to fine tune what you are doing... Something you can be proud of is getting rid of the convenience fast foods.. Fresh is so much lower in calories and salt and you will loose more weight by staying away from them. Eat a LOT of tomatoes. MORE salad :-)
